Local small businesses are being given the opportunity to benefit from the Leader to Leader course. The opportunity is being made possible by OneAIM and Sellafield Ltd.
Leader to Leader is an eight-month leadership development programme aimed at Senior Leaders who want to improve their leadership performance. The course is run by a local not for profit – Centre of Leadership Performance.
The programme offers a highly individual learning journey with time for reflection, observation and application of learning back in the workplace. The eight months allow a gradual, evolving approach with many opportunities to problem solve and integrate learning in a practical and business-focused way. OneAIM, a joint venture between Interserve and Wood, is responsible for delivering the Operations Site Works framework for Sellafield Ltd. OneAIM and Sellafield Ltd are both committed to having a Social Impact in West Cumbria. As part of that commitment, both businesses are offering to sponsor two local small businesses to take part in Leader to Leader. A total of four local small businesses will be sponsored.
Last year, OneAIM sponsored two local businesses through the course; Lee Grears from Responsive Ltd and William King from William King.
Criteria
You must be an SME (EU definition)
You must be based in West Cumbria (i.e a office in Copeland or Allerdale)
You must be able to commit to the approx 15 days throughout the calendar year to attend the course
You do not have to be (or want to be) part of OneAIM or Sellafield Ltd's supply chain to apply. We welcome applications from small local businesses from all sectors (who meet the above criteria).
